WHAT WE DO
Kadima Training and Tactical is a Professional Firearms Training Council (PFTC) and SAPS accredited training provider. We specialise in basic and business purpose firearms training and also present tactical, self defense and survival courses. It is our aim to give the best quality training that will leave our students with the best knowledge and understanding of how to use a firearm safely.
OUR STORY
Kadima Training and Tactical was born out of a passion and love for the industry. We believe that a person has the right to bear arms, to protect themselves and participate in hunting and sports shooting and in doing so we want to help train and equip each person to do so safely and responsibly.
​Emile Engelbrecht the founder of Kadima Training and Tactical has a passion for teaching people about firearms and with his years of experience in the field as a tactical operator, armed response and professional hunter he is more than capable.

In 2019 Kadima Training and Tactical (Pty) Ltd applied for PFTC and SAPS accreditation and with lots of faith and perseverance we were rewarded 2021 with our SAPS accreditation. With our accreditation now in place we look forward to become a big target in the firearms training industry.

PROFESSIONAL FIREARMS TRAINING COUNCIL (PFTC)
The Professional Firearms Trainers Council (PFTC) is a registered Non-Profit company. The registered name is the “South African Professional Firearm Trainers Council” and we trade in industry beneath the acronym of the PFTC. The PFTC fulfils two roles within the firearms training industry. The first is the role of Professional Body and the second is that of Quality Assurer.
PROFESSIONAL BODY:
The PFTC is the SAQA registered and recognised Professional Body for Firearm Training Professionals. The PFTC has five registered Professional Designations with SAQA as well as a number of internal Titles or Designations allocated by the PFTC to individuals. These Designations serve to recognise professionals within the industry and indicate where a particular professional is in their career path as a firearm training professional. Designations also prescribe the level at which a professional is allowed to perform based on the knowledge and skill set of that individual. The different designations set the standard of the professionals within the industry.
PROFESSIONAL BODY DELEGATED AS QUALITY ASSURER:
The PFTC has been delegated the quality assurance function by the Quality Council for Trades & Occupation (QCTO). The PFTC therefore is responsible for maintaining the standards, as laid out SAQA and the QCTO for the full Firearm Qualification 50480, and all the unit standards contained within this qualification. The PFTC has not only been tasked with the role of quality assuring for the firearms training industry but has also been given the mandate from SAPS (CFR) to assist in the regulation of firearms training according to the Firearms Control Act (FCA).
